Brownhill House

Grounds of Brownhill House - alcohol treatment facility

Abbeycare Foundation alcoholism treatment facility is based in Brownhill House - a 'B' listed Historic Scotland building built in 1732. Homely and well appointed, the house is located in the tranquil countryside of North Ayrshire and in the peaceful setting of 4 acres of mature gardens. The house overlooks the Garnock Valley and is only a short distance away is the beautiful Clyde Coastline with quiet coastal villages and towns, country parks and gardens.

Abbeycare Foundation restricts the number of residents to its alcoholism treatment facility to provide a comfortable, caring atmosphere to aid relaxation during recovery. We aim to provide a non-institutionalized care at our alcoholism treatment facility for positive recovery within a confidential and holistic community.

Residents of our alcohol treatment facility have their own single occupancy room, most of which have en-suite facilities.

The various facilities available at our alcohol treatment facility include a library, small cinema, gym, meditation room, spiritual & holistic treatment, lounge, study, arts & crafts workshop, horticultural tunnels, greenhouses and music therapy room.
