Brownhill House is a grade 'B' listed building, set in beautiful Scottish countryside - the perfect location for an alcohol rehabilitation centre with a gentle approach to healing. Every resident has their own room with en suite to ensure privacy and we only take on five residents at any one time so we can guarantee focused time for every individual.
Our alcoholism addiction treatment has grown out of an understanding that alcoholism is a disease. We know that in order to beat the disease we must beat the cravings that are inherent in alcoholism. Medical treatment is a part of this healing; we advise our clients to obtain Librium from their GP before attending.
This however is just the first part of our alcoholism treatment program; we want you to be as comfortable as possible in order for us to be able to teach you new coping methods which will break the pattern of your addiction.
Part of the focus of our alcoholism addiction treatment is to empower the spirit so that you feel renewed and no longer look to alcohol for self-confidence or to relax. This spiritual aspect is not connected to any religion, only to a belief in yourself and your ability to overcome your dependency.
