At Abbeycare we use a 12-step system of transformation similar to that employed by alcoholic anonymous in the UK, though our programme focuses on the spirituality of the individual.
This spiritual element of our programme is not based in any religious teachings. Working with you, we analyse how best to proceed with new coping methods learned through the healing of the spirit; this is our unique method of rehab. Alcohol treatment is hard going on the body so we also use Librium to control withdrawal symptoms.
