Alcohol Detoxification
At the Abbeycare Foundation we are committed to making your experience of alcohol detoxification as comfortable as possible.
We understand that this is no easy time for you and we advise our clients to visit their GP before a stay with us to obtain the appropriate dosage of Librium in order to help withdrawal symptoms. The combination of prescription drugs and our methods of spiritual healing are the foundations of our alcohol and drinking addiction treatment. This is because we believe that alcoholism is a disease and needs to be treated as such during your alcohol inpatient treatment.
As part of your alcohol inpatient treatment, you will be invited to help draw up your own recovery timetable. This helps empower you to take control of your addiction and break the cycle of addiction.
During your stay at our alcohol detox centre, you will have one-to- one support and your own room so as to give you the privacy and focus you will need. We only admit five people at a time at Brownhill House so that each of our clients receives the 24-hour support they deserve and need.
Our programmes are drawn from the experiences of others in the same position as you: as long as you are willing to go through alcohol detoxification with us we promise you can give up drinking for good.
