About Abbeycare Foundation

Abbeycare Foundation was founded by a group of people who had experienced their own problems with alcohol addiction. They decided that knowing this problem from the inside they would "pass it on" to others and help them into and through the recovery that they had found

The Abbeycare team focussed their efforts in visiting and linking with various alcohol addiction centres in the USA, Canada and Europe, taking what we believe are the best models and programmes and moulding them into our specialised treatment programmes.

At Abbeycare people are treated with empathy, compassion and understanding which comes from staff who view their work as a vocation rather than a job.

With this problem we don't have time to take our time. This problem is solvable if you can find the desire to do the work.

Look into your heart. Look at your loved ones. Look at your friends. Look at your life. Look at us and find recovery. This is not about loss - recovery is all about gain. Take the first step. Nobody else can do it for you. Life will get better when you stop drinking - that's guaranteed.
