What We Offer
Abbeycare Foundation is located in Brownhill House, an 18th-century manor house with a distinguished history. Brownhill, near Dalry in Scotland, is a safe, tranquil and discreet environment, where you can get to grips with the problem of your drinking in complete confidence. Trained staff are on hand to help you at all times.
The House is surrounded by attractive gardens, with secluded seating for study and contemplation. There is time for relaxation, quiet reading, and visits to local beauty spots, as well as a hot-tub.

Here you have the exclusive use of a large double-bedroom and bathroom. There are also two lounges and a dining-room reserved for clients.
We provide your room and board, including towels. You will only need to bring clothes, toiletries, some spending cash, plus any prescribed medication you may take. You can attend to your own laundry, or staff will be pleased to assist you.

Our chef and dietician devise balanced menus that take account of individual tastes and requirements. You and your fellow clients will be consulted each week about the menus. Between meals, you can help yourself to hot and cold drinks, fresh fruit and homebaking, available in the dining room.
Last, but not least, you can use Abbeycare’s large and comprehensive collection of educational resources, including books and movies about recovery from alcohol.
